Target Fort Myers Disaster Relief
Project Size: 169,000 sqft
Project Location: Fort Myers, FL
Following Hurricane Irma, Williams Company mobilized to Ft. Myers to repair major building structural damage. Irma’s hurricane force winds and spin off tornadoes caused a large portion of roof structure to collapse. Within days, the building was structurally shored, mechanical systems repaired and temporary partitions put in place to separate the guests from the damaged areas. Although the sales floor was reduced by 30%, these measures allowed Target to remain open and gave the local public a place to shop for much needed supplies.
