Target Panama City Disaster Relief
Target
Project Size: 123,000 sqft
Project Location: Panama City, FL
Following Hurricane Irma, Williams Company mobilized to Ft. Myers to repair significant building structural damage. Irma’s hurricane-force winds and spin-off tornadoes caused a large portion of the roof structure to collapse. Within days, we structurally shored the building, mechanical systems repaired, and temporary partitions put in place to separate the guests from the damaged areas. Although the sales floor was reduced by 30%, these measures allowed Target to remain open and gave the local public a place to shop for much-needed supplies.
